Creating your Zodl wallet

Zodl makes it incredibly easy to get started with your first Zcash wallet.

Upon installing, launch Zodl and simply tap 'Create new wallet'.

Receiving your first ZEC

You can receive ZEC immediately by tapping the 'Receive' button and providing your shielded or transparent address.

You can also convert any NEAR-supported coin or token into shielded ZEC via Zodl Swaps. See our article on swapping into ZEC.

Backing up your wallet

Upon receiving your first ZEC, you'll be prompted to back up your Zodl Recovery Phrase.

Please read our backing up Zodl in order to secure your funds.

If you lose your phone or access to Zodl, you must have your Recovery Phrase to access your funds. ZODL has no access to your phrase and cannot recover your ZEC for you.

Be sure to back up your wallet as soon as possible
