Changing your server
Zashi connects to independently-run remote servers in order to synchronise your wallet and detect and send funds.
The privacy and security model for these remote servers is very strong, ensuring that no information is leaked to them about which funds and transactions are yours. (To obscure your IP address from these servers, see our article on enabling Tor protection.)
Based on your region, some servers will end up faster than others, and occasionally a server may encounter issues. For this reason, you can change the default server (or specify a custom one).
Changing your server
In Zashi, go to: '...' menu > More > Advanced Settings > Choose a Server
On that screen it will perform a server test, and after a few seconds, it will place the fastest ones at top. Choose one of those and tap 'Save selection'.
