Using CrossPay to spend ZEC

With Zodl's CrossPay feature, you can pay across dozens of coins and tokens using your ZEC.

CrossPay leverages our integration with the NEAR Intents decentralised exchange, so your swaps are trustless and don't depend on a centralised third-party.

Furthermore, your ZEC is spent directly from your shielded funds, so no information about your Zcash address or holdings are ever publicly visible, maintaining your privacy.

How it works

1. Open Zodl and click the Pay button.

2. Choose the cryptocurrency your recipient wants to receive.

3. Enter or scan the destination wallet address and the target token amount

4. Review and confirm the intended coin, amount, and destination.

Zodl and NEAR Intents will handle the rest: your shielded ZEC will be used to cover the payment and fees, NEAR will swap your ZEC under the hood, and your recipient will receive the exact amount you indicated in their chosen cryptocurrency.

Status and completion

Swaps are typically completed in just a few minutes. View the status of your CrossPay in your Zodl Activity list.
